The Challenge: Selling Premium Luxury on an Open Digital Shelf
Introducing full pricing visibility disrupted the traditional long-cycle sales model and presented major hurdles.
Because prices were visible from the start, we couldn’t rely on competing on cost alone. Instead, we focused on helping our client stand out by communicating the value behind the product. We built campaigns that educated potential customers on premium features, such as True Wave heaters, before they reached the purchasing stage.
We also identified two distinct high-income, health-conscious audiences, each requiring a tailored marketing approach:
- Ages 35–44: Performance-focused buyers who compared technical specifications, product features, and valued a seamless online purchasing experience.
- Ages 50+: Longevity-focused buyers looking for pain relief and therapeutic benefits, who needed stronger trust signals and more educational content before making a purchase.
During the early rollout of the new e-commerce framework, our client also experienced temporary conversion rate declines in key markets. We closely monitored performance, identified the technical issues, and refined the implementation to minimise the impact during an important seasonal sales period.
The Omni-Channel Solution
MONSOON bypassed siloed channel execution, designing a single connected system where search and social worked in tandem to capture intent and build category demand.
1. Google Ads: Intent Capture & Efficiency Protection
We structured Google Ads to cover category demand, brand protection, and competitor-adjacent research:
- Positioned technical proof points (low-EMF, True Wave heating) directly in search copy to justify premium positioning instantly.
- Scaled reach across YouTube, Display, Discover, and Gmail, anchoring assets in deep credibility cues like consultation offers and medical certifications.
2. Meta Ads: Demand Generation & Quality Qualification
We utilized Meta campaigns to build strong brand preference and counteract cross-market volatility:
- Scaled social spend through broad targeting layered with lifestyle and wellness interests, allowing the algorithm to seek out high-intent buyers.
- Integrated native lead forms featuring custom qualification questions, successfully scaling lead volume while strictly preserving lead quality.
3. Creative Innovation: Visual Aspiration Meets Expert Science
We launched distinct creative concepts to address our core buyer segments:
- The “Lady with Chili Pepper” Concept: High-end, fashion-editorial style imagery that positioned Clearlight as an intentionally premium, design-forward luxury asset.
- Founder-Led Video Content: Trust-building, educational videos hosted by the brand’s founder. These broke down the exact science of infrared emissions in an accessible, transparent, and expert-led manner.
Implementation
When early e-commerce site issues threatened conversion rates, MONSOON pivoted quickly. We rerouted the highest-performing market (Germany) back to a proven lead-gen setup while deploying streamlined, low-friction landing pages in secondary markets to stabilize volume during back-end troubleshooting.
Early data showed massive regional cost discrepancies, with localized CPLs ranging from ultra-efficient to heavily inflated across Europe. In June, we consolidated scattered regional efforts into a single unified European Meta campaign structure. This pooled data signals, eliminated audience overlap, and allowed budget to flow dynamically to the most efficient audiences and geolocations in real time.
Results
By shifting from regional silos to data-driven algorithmic bidding and a unified messaging playbook, MONSOON delivered record-breaking performance metrics.
